Bernat Cormand (Barcelona, 1973–2021) was a philologist, writer, and illustrator specializing in children's and young adult literature. His style combines a soft color palette and very fine lines with emotionally intense themes such as identity, desire, and the fragility of childhood. In albums such as El dibujante de osos, El niño perfecto, and Los días felices, he explores the discovery of love, friendship, and difference from very intimate childlike perspectives. A constant in his work is the natural visibility of LGTBI+ diversity, integrated into the daily lives of his characters without moralizing or dramatizing. In addition to illustrating, he worked as a critic and popularizer, and understood the illustrated book as a space where text and image dialogue to shape complex emotions with great delicacy.

This piece belongs to the imaginary developed for the book El niño perfecto, published in 2013. It is an original drawing, signed by the artist and accompanied by its corresponding certificate of authenticity.
